Some people have chosen to use these powers for good. There are others, however, who use their powers for other reasons terrible reasons. others simply use their powers to create fear, and to manipulate people. A mysterious organization known only as "The Company" is still capturing and tracking Specials. And what of the "Shanti virus?"
