Why cant i save the world?

Peter unlocked the door to his flat and threw his bags on the bed closed the door behind him with his foot and walked into the kitchen and put the kettle on.He then walked back into the bedroom and picked the bags up then put them on the floor and swapped his clothes for more that were in his cupboard, he sat on the bed and began to get changed then he heard a knock on the door.

Who is it?

Peter only got a mumble for an answer but he still walked to the door with only his jeans and one sock on, he looked through the eyehole in the door and saw knox standing there and beside him was someone else.

What are they doing here?

Peter quickly ran to the kitchen and tried to turn the kettle off but as he got there peter heard the door break and saw peices of wood fly to the bed.Peter closed his eyes and went invisible, he didnt know what this other guy could do and didnt really want to find out.Peter stood completly still as they ran through his house throwing things about.

What are they looking for?

Peter whispered to himself but the new guy heard it and told knox that peter was still there knox left to get reinforcements while the guy stood there watching the spot where peter was when he spoke, but unknown to him peter was already behinde the bloke and set his coat on fire which made him run out of peters place and down the stairs following the same route that knox had taken, peter became unvisible and sat back on his bed.

Now i need to get changed and peter put his other sock on before realishing that he had lost his top.

I Couldn't Face A Life Without Your Light .x

It had been a while, what, five, nearly six months now? After all that had happened i guess i hadn't really got over it, i mean, who could? It was all such a mess and had screwed with my now slightly more sane mind. At least there wasn't that voice there anymore, so something good had come out of it all. I didn't really know what i was doing, well, i did, i just didn't understand why. I walked along the streets of New York, life just whizzing by, no one stopping to take a look around and see how good their life was, to see how normal they were.. i would have if i had a good life, if i was normal. I sighed and carried on walking, i looked at the piece of paper that i graped in my hand, on it was an address... it had taken me a hell of a lot of work to get the address, but i hoped it would be worth it.

Finally, i had found the right place, or what i hoped to be the right place.I walked into the block of flats, now i just had to find the right flat... it was then something grabbed my attention, a man ran out, flames covering his clothing. I just stood there for a moment, yeah I'd come to the right place. I ran up the flights of stairs, running along past doors, finally coming to the one that i hoped was what i was looking for, the smashed door said it all. I knocked on the remaining pieces of the door and called in.

Hey...?

I hoped this was Peter's flat, something told me it was, smashed door, dude running out on fire, who else could do such amazing things? I did begin to wonder of something really bad had happened...

Peter was busy going through a draw and once he found his red stripped top he quickly put it on a grabbed his jacket and walked near to his kitchen when he heard a voice calling through his room, peter quickly went invisible and walked as quickly and as quietly as he could towards the noise.Peter saw a girl standing in his doorway looking in his house.

Hey who the hell are you?

It was only after he spoke when he realised who it was, woah peter hadnt seen her in a while ever since the whole kill yourself murder regenerate thing but it worked at least charna was gone.

So how you been skye?

Peter looked down at her face then went invisible and walked into the kitchen and began to pack some things up into a bag.

Im sorry i cant stay im gonna be off saving the world.

Peter stared at his feet he wasnt actually going anywhere but peter had been feeling bored he felt like his powers were pointless because he hadnt needed them for awhile except this morning but peter didnt care he had to something anything save a cat from a tree or something but he needed to do it

I was so glad to see him, and when he did appear, he seemed to be ok. It was just great to hear his voice again after all this time. I listened as she spoke, asking how i was, well, i wasn't about to spill out the truth, was i? No... not just yet... i put on a weak smile and spoke.

yeah. I'm ok, i guess.

I took a few steps inside as he went off into the kitchen, i watched him pack a few bags.Again, i listened as i spoke, my heart dropping slightly as his words reached me, so much for coming to spend time with the one person i trusted. oh well, he had a life he seemed to be getting on with, unlike me, i was still lost in the past and all that had happened. Saving the World? Something about this didn't sound right to me, yeah he could save the world, but there was something deep inside of me that told me that his words weren't all true. Something was wrong, Peter just didn't seem like himself. After a moment of silence i spoke, concern lacing my tones.

Peter, what's wrong?

Peter walked towards the door but stopped and looked at skye.

I nearly killed my mum and im losing control of my powers, there is a ower i stole of a murderer called sylar which gives you this hunger for powers and i cant be trusted with it so im going to save the world then kill myself once and for all.

Peter felt extrodanary calm while speaking he let out a smile and picked the bags up again and walked into the corridor outside his room.

Peter's words reached me, i was trying to work out what he was saying, what it all meant, but none of it really hit me until he walked out of the door. y eyes widened at the realization of what he had just said. Using my power i sped out of his flat and into the hall, stopping in front of him. I looked into his eyes and spoke, there was no way i could let him do this.

I may not understand fully what has been going on, but i can tell you now Peter Petrelli, there is no fucking way i am going to let you kill yourself. Yeah, save the world, but you can't kill yourself, i can't let you.

I meant it. I really needed to know some more about what the hell was going on, then maybe i could help, there was no way he could do this, i wouldn't let him, not after everything...

Skye im sorry but there is nothing you can do to stop me once i save the world then i am going to do it weither you like it or not.

Peter walked around her and stood at the top of the stairs but waiting for him was knox and the other guy that peter had set alight.

I turned as he walked past me, but i then followed, there was no way i was going to let this happen. I could see the two people standing waiting for Peter, and i hard Peter tell me to get out of there, but when i was like this, i was not going to do as i was told. I glared down at the two men,i then shouted at them, my tone had such an edge to it.

What the fuck do you two want?!

Anger filled my voice, hatred in my eyes. I then turned back to Peter, my tone lowered hatred subsided and i spoke again.

You will not rush into this. I need you to explain what is going on, then maybe i can help.

why was he so stubborn? I knew there was no way of getting any further with him, i was wasting my time. I just looked at him for a little longer, so what if he wanted to go and save the world, i wasn't going to get in the way.

Fine.

Maybe I'd find him again, or maybe he would find me. either way i didn't care, i was already so dead inside, there was nothing left of me , ever since Charna had gone i had no purpose, but she wasn't all that caused me to kill, no. But since everyone seemed to be going off and doing their own thing, I'd have to get on with all of this on my own, deal with it myself. I turned and ran, got as far away as i could.

Peter was left by himself and in a rage sent electricity at the new guy killing him and knox turned and ran away.

Take that

Peter didnt care anymore he picked up his bags and threw them onto his bed and sprawled out onto it.
